Axman - An Axman is a guitar player. However he is not precise, he is not gentle, he is not especially musical. He chops at the chords like he's hacking at a log of wood. He palys solos like he's stabbing a carcass with a dagger. A perfect example of an Axman is Pete Townsend. Now, does this mean an Axeman is not a good guitar player? Are you kidding me? Pete Townsend is GREAT! He hacks and slams at his instrument like it's all of those deep emotions hiding down deep inside of himself. He's pissed off and you know it. the bottom line? The Axman plays with emotion. He not only plays his anger, he displays his anger. It works. He's a great guitarist.
